The 2009 Tainan Ancient Capital International Marathon follows a scenic route through the historical city of Tainan. Now open for registration. The event date (15 February 2009) unfortunately collides with Shuang-si Cherry Blossom Marathon.

Macau got its own. Hong Kong has a handful. Now, Zhuhai is to get its own Half Marathon as well! The 1st Zhuhai Half Marathon 2009 is organized by Macau-based company UPU (upward bound unlimmited) and will start on 28 February 2009 in front of the Holiday Inn.
